Zac Efron To Dump Vanessa Hudgens
Zac Efron is planning on dumping girlfriend and High School Musical co-star Vanessa Hudgens but is too afraid according to one of his friends.
“Zac has been drifting away from Vanessa for months now,” Zac’s friend who became close to him while filming The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud told the National Enquirer.
“He struggled with how to break up with her all through filming. When the cameras weren’t rolling, Zac would be on his cell phone saying things like, ‘I’m too young to settle down’ and ‘I don’t want to hurt her.’
“Each day, he would call his buddies in L.A. saying that was the day he was going to end the relationship, but he always chickened out.”
The 22-year-old actor allegedly enjoyed being single while filming in Vancouver, Canada.
“Zac has never really been single since making it big – he hasn’t had much guy time or really experienced the clubs.
“He’s loving his freedom and wants to experience being single in Hollywood,” said his friend.
Zac was spotted without his Vanessa at the Nov. 10 premiere of Me and Orson Welles in Washington, D.C.
The week before, he also went club-hopping in Hollywood without Vanessa visiting the Italian restaurant Pace on Nov. 3, XIV on Nov. 4 and Hyde Lounge on Nov. 6.
One person told the Enquirer that Zac was at XIV with Hairspray co-worker Brittany Snow, and he was seen rubbing her back.
“I saw Zac flirting with Lauren Conrad at Hyde Lounge. They were definitely enjoying each other’s company that night,” said another eyewitness to the news group.
“The bottom line is he feels he needs to experience life as a single guy before he can settle down,” said Zac’s friend. “Zac will always love Vanessa, but he thinks they are both too young to be so serious about each other.”
Either Zac’s friend is not very loyal, or Zac wanted him or her to make the story public to help him break-up with Vanessa.
According to journalist and author Ian Halperin of Ianundercover.com, Zac has bisexual attractions, so maybe he wants to explore dating different types of people.
Remember the National Enquirer was the first publication to out Presidential candidate John Edwards’s affair, so if one does or does not want to believe this story that is one’s prerogative, but time will tell the truth.
